Terms and Conditions of 2-Year Guarantee:
We stand by the quality of our products. Our guarantee is a promise to you – a commitment to your satisfaction and confidence in every purchase. Read on to learn more about our assurance for your peace of mind.
- Coverage Period:
- The 2-Year Guarantee applies to all other products, such as chairs, stools, mirrored furniture, ceramic vases, tables, and glass, covering any structural faults discovered. Upholstered chairs and stools are included with coverage for frames, joints, webbing, and springs. However, fabrics and foam fillings are excluded from the guarantee, as they may experience general wear and tear.
- Eligibility:
- The guarantee applies to the original purchaser of the products and is non-transferable.
- Scope of Coverage:
- The guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and care.
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents is not covered.
- Conditions for Coverage:
- The furniture must be used in accordance with provided care and usage instructions.
- Any modifications or alterations to the furniture by parties other than the manufacturer or authorized personnel void the guarantee.
- Notification of Defects:
- Any defects or issues covered by this guarantee must be reported to us within a reasonable timeframe.
- Repair, Replacement, or Refund:
- In the event of a covered defect, the retailer or manufacturer reserves the right to choose between repairing the furniture, providing a replacement, or offering a refund.
- Exclusions:
- This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, fading, or changes in appearance over time.
- Damages caused by improper assembly, installation, or maintenance are not covered.
- Professional Inspection:
- The retailer or manufacturer may require inspection by authorized personnel to assess the nature of the defect before initiating repairs, replacement, or a refund.
- How to Claim & Proof of Purchase:
- If you encounter any issues with the warranty, simply contact our Customer Service team at [sales@finndeluxe.co.uk]. Please provide your proof of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and, if possible, photographs.
- A valid proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or invoice, is required for any claims under this guarantee.
- Limitations:
- The total liability of the retailer or manufacturer under this guarantee is limited to the purchase price of the furniture.
- Expiry of Guarantee:
- This guarantee expires after the specified 2-year period, and no claims will be accepted beyond this timeframe.
- Discretionary Changes:
- The retailer or manufacturer reserves the right to make changes or modifications to the terms and conditions of this guarantee with notice to the consumer.
- Resolution:
- Depending on the nature of the issue, we will either repair or replace the defective part or product at our discretion.
- We may use similar materials if the original ones are unavailable. If a frame repair requires fabric replacement, it might not be an exact match, but we’ll try to find a close alternative. If your product can’t be repaired, we’ll replace it with the same model. If that’s not possible, we’ll provide a substitute with a similar specification or value.
- Our guarantee does not extend to::
- Evidence of product abuse, misuse, or usage in non-domestic environments.
- Natural wear and tear, inclusive of scratches and surface chips.
- Products that have not been adequately maintained by care instructions.
- Any alterations or repairs performed by parties other than ourselves.
- Fading, cracking, and timber splitting due to the natural aging process from weathering.
- Products in an unsanitary condition, such as those affected by pet-related issues. We reserve the right to decline collection and/or disposal of unsanitary products.
- Products exported outside of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
- Terms and Conditions:
- This guarantee is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- Any modifications or repairs not authorized by Finn Deluxe will void the guarantee.
- The guarantee does not cover incidental or consequential damages.
